Elliot Schiffer has been the CEO of Mici since 2017 when he was named one of Nation’s Restaurant News’ “New Top Executives”. He has overseen major initiatives to prepare Mici for sustainable growth – including the revamp of Mici’s online ordering site and Point of Sale system, the consolidation of Mici’s supply chain into a single food distributor, and the pairing down of the brand’s menu offerings. Prior to Mici, Elliot built a $75M business inside airports and casinos as the SVP of Development at Smashburger – named Most Promising Company In America by Forbes Magazine during Elliot’s work there. Originally a management consultant at Deloitte, Elliot joined the restaurant business to learn management at Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises in Chicago. At “Lettuce”, Elliot advanced from Assistant Manager to Director of Operations and was able to help build a new concept, MBurger, with founder Richard Melman. Elliot received a B.S. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. He earned his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and was named an F.C. Austin Scholar while studying Entrepreneurship, Finance, and Marketing. Elliot lives in Denver with his wife Sara, son Walt, and daughter Susanna. He spends his free time skiing or hiking with his family.
